Allotment Goblins

Allotment Goblins is a TTRPG/social game for three or more players about growing plants and telling rambling tales. The aim is to repeatedly include certain words when speaking, without this being noticed by other players. Pens/pencils, paper, a book (with words in) and a timing device are required.

Players are small creatures who have allotments (small plots of land for recreational plant-growing) who are trying to be the most successful at growing their plants. They pass the time and encourage growth by sharing little anecdotes.

Players tell short tales starting from 'seed' words, and attempt to make repeated reference to those words without the other players guessing them. The more times they can sneak the words in (and the more incorrect guesses the other players make), the better their plants grow.

Originally made for One-Page RPG Jam 2025 in August 2025, inspired by the theme of the jam, 'growth'.
